It has been devastating to see the impact of flooding across Mid Bedfordshire in recent days so I have been in regular contact with authorities to be kept up-to-date on the response operations.
In the coming weeks and months lessons will need to be learned about how our local councils, the Government, Anglian Water, National Highways and other organisations responded to the floods.
I want to be able to provide the most in depth feedback possible to ensure better outcomes in the future. So I want to hear from you on how you were affected by the floods, how you were supported by authorities and what improvements you think could be made.
This will help me build a comprehensive report to feed in to the councils and other bodies, backed by first-hand experiences from local people.
