Mid Bedfordshire MP Blake Stephenson visited a number of local schools as part of UK Parliament Week to engage more young people in democracy.
UK Parliament Week began in 2011 as an annual event to inform and educate people about the work and role of Parliament across the UK and has grown ever since. It is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to learn about what Parliament is, what it does and how to get involved.
Blake visited Parkfields Middle School in Toddington and Wilstead Primary School on Friday 22nd November to take part in a Q&A with local students. Alameda Middle School visited the Houses of Parliament earlier in the week as part of Parliament's Education Service's offering to schools across the country.
And local MP Blake is encouraging more local schools to take advantage of the opportunity Parliament provides to engage young people in democracy.
