Blake Stephenson, the MP for Mid Bedfordshire, popped along to the Bedfordshire Beekeepers Honey Festival at the Forest of Marston Vale Centre on Sunday (22nd September).
The festival saw local beekeepers showing off their produce, honey tasting and apple pressing to enjoy, lots of information about pollination and bees in general, and of course the opportunity to pick up your next jar of fresh local honey.
The annual event even has a talk titled 'So You Want To Be A Beekeeper' for any budding beekeepers across Bedfordshire and helps to educate on how you can make you garden attractive to bees.
Blake is keen to get out across Mid Bedfordshire and support local events like the Honey Festival so get in touch by emailing [email protected] if there is an event you would like to invite him to.
