Mid Bedfordshire MP Blake Stephenson listened to young people about their priorities for the future at the campaign launch for Central Bedfordshire’s Youth Parliament on Saturday (28th September)
Central Bedfordshire’s Youth Parliament is a group of elected young people who represent the voices of young people on a local and national level and are passionate about their communities and issues that affect young people and strive to make a positive change.
The three main campaigns for 2024/25 are focussed on Crime & Safety, Health & Well-being and Culture, Media & Sport and Blake was delighted to head to the event to speak to young people from across Bedfordshire.
Blake Stephenson MP said: "I had a fantastic time meeting with young people from across the constituency at the Central Bedfordshire's Youth Parliament Campaign Launch.
"Listening to young people and their priorities for now and for the future is so important to me as your local Member of Parliament.
"We're incredibly lucky to have so many bright young people here in Central Bedfordshire and I look forward to continue listening to them and working with them in the coming months and years."
