Blake Stephenson, the MP for Mid Bedfordshire, has brought residents, councillors and the police together for a meeting to discuss road safety in Ampthill.
Residents had been in touch with their local MP keen to talk about issues on Bedford Street, Hazelwood Lane and Poppy Drive, as well as the High Street in Maulden.
So Blake helped to arrange a meeting in Ampthill bringing key local stakeholders together including the police, the local council, ward councillors and the residents affected.
Blake Stephenson MP said: "I know road safety, and in particular speeding, is an issue in many of our villages and towns across Mid Bedfordshire, not just Ampthill, and I will be using the discussions we had from this meeting to support my wider work on road safety going forward.
