Blake Stephenson, the MP for Mid Bedfordshire, has joined a number of cross-party MPs from across the country in signing a petition which would provide a funding boost for hospices across the country.
The petitions calls for the first £100 million in annual Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) fines to be provided solely to the hospice sector as extra funding.
This would support Bedfordshire's own Keech Hospice Care who are backing the initiative.
