The path along the Pegsdon Hills is one of just eight finalists in the running to be named Britain's Favourite Path and local MP Blake Stephenson is encouraging local residents to vote ahead of tomorrow's deadline.
The Ramblers, Britain’s walking charity, began the search for Britain’s Favourite Path in August to highlight the important role that paths and access to nature play in everyone’s lives.
Hundreds of entries were received and Bedfordshire's the Pegsdon Hills have made it into the final eight with voting set to end at midnight on Sunday 6th October.
Blake Stephenson, the MP for Mid Bedfordshire, said: "There are just hours left to vote so make sure we shine a light on the beauty of the Pegsdon Hills by voting before the deadline.
"It's fantastic the Pegsdon Hills have made it into the final eight from hundreds of entries but let's keep celebrating Bedfordshire and all of its natural beauty and help the Hills be named Britain's Favourite Path."
