Mid Bedfordshire MP Blake Stephenson is continuing to lead the response to the recent flooding across the constituency by quizzing Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner at Prime Minister's Questions in the House of Commons today (23rd October).
Blake is determined to ensure the correct lessons are learned from the flooding event in September and will not let the issue drop. Since the flooding he has set up a survey to hear experiences from local people impacted and secured and led a Parliamentary debate on the local response to flooding.
Maulden, in Mid Bedfordshire, has been impacted by more flooding in recent years since an increase in housing development and Blake raised this concern with Angela Rayner as the Labour Government has set out plans to build millions more houses over the next Parliament.
